Stableford win a thrill for Attrill
BUGGY
A REALLY good 昀椀eld of 28 players turned out
for the single Stableford event, played on yet
another magni昀椀cent Winter’s day – sunny with
a gentle breeze to keep everyone on their toes.
.The winner on a solid 38 points was Tim
Attrill from Michael Waythe on 37 points.
It’s great to see a few new faces getting into
the winning circle. Michael Waythe has been
quietly getting into some good gol昀椀ng form
after the bowls season.
Nearest the Pin:
- 3/12: Mark Borwick
- 18th: Nobody
Money Hole: Alan Aylett
Other good scores included Scott O’Neil,
John Mauric and Mark Borwick all on 36
points and Rab Denby and Roger Clemons 35
points.
AROUND THE TRAPS
A FAIRLY uneventful day with the usual
hard luck stories and the odd miracle. Freddie
Tatawaga was lucky on the 8th hole. A
