The Tasmanian Lighthorse is a
Historical Troop dedicated to keeping
alive the history and traditions of the
Australian Lighthorse. The members
have an interest in military history as
well as a love of horses. The skill-atarms we demonstrate in our displays
is part of the training regime the
lighthorse used to foster camaraderie,
enhance riding skills and weapon
handling as well as develop horse
and rider trust. Come along to see
our riding and static displays to learn
history or join us and become part of
the troop.
