TRAFFIC INFORMATION
ARRIVING AT AGFEST
BEFORE 2.30PM
FROM LAUNCESTON: head toward Devonport on the
Bass Highway (1), 22kms from Launceston, turn onto Oaks
Road (C511) at the Liffey Falls exit.
FROM DEVONPORT: head toward Launceston on the
Bass Highway (1). Approximately 7kms past the Hagley
by-pass, turn right onto Oaks Road (C511) at the Liffey
Falls exit.
FROM HOBART: Follow the Midlands Highway (1) to
Perth, turn left onto (B52), continue for 13kms and turn
left onto the Bass Highway (1). Travel approximately 4kms
and turn left onto Oaks Road (C511) at the Liffey Falls exit.
The Liffey Falls exit on the Bass Highway is marked with
large yellow Agfest directional signage.
AFTER 2.30PM
During the hours of 2.30pm until 6pm, Agfest cannot be
accessed from the Bass Highway due to both lanes of Oaks
Road being used for outbound exiting traffic only. If you
plan on visiting Agfest after 2.30pm please follow these
alternative routes:
FROM LAUNCESTON: Head towards Longford. Just
past Longford, follow (C518), (C513) and (C511) through
Bishopsbourne.
FROM DEVONPORT: Head towards Launceston on the
Bass Highway (1). Prior to Hagley, turn onto (B54) travel
through Hagley and Whitemore using (B54), (C507) and
(C511).
FROM HOBART: Follow the Midland Highway (1) to Longford.
Just past Longford, follow (C518), (C513) and (C511) through
Bishopsbourne.
The routes via Hagley, Whitemore and Bishopsbourne are marked
with Agfest direction signage.
LEAVING AGFEST
BETWEEN 7.30AM AND 12PM
Exit via South Exit Gate only
BETWEEN 12PM AND 2.30PM
Exit via Oaks Road
BETWEEN 2.30PM AND 6PM
Exit must be made in the same direction you arrived.
For example, if you came to Agfest from the NorthWest, then the roads out of Agfest will lead back to
the North-West.
If in doubt, signage in and around the car parks will
guide you to the respective routes out of the
Agfest site.
