DRIVING TO AGFEST
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE DRIVING TO AGFEST
DURING AGFEST, SPECIAL TRAFFIC CONDITIONS WILL BE IMPLEMENTED ON OAKS
ROAD AND BASS HIGHWAY TO ENABLE THE SAFE AND EFFICIENT MOVEMENT OF
TRAFFIC IN AND OUT OF THE AGFEST SITE.
This will include reduced speed limits
and the placement of barriers along
the full length of Oaks Road to prevent
lane changing (under request by
Tasmania Police).
Patrons are asked to obey all signage
and any directions given by traffic
control officials and Tasmania Police.
Traffic conditions may be altered at
short notice to minimise delays.
Due to the special traffic conditions
in place, patrons are encouraged to
plan their Agfest routes before they
leave home, especially if visiting from
the North-West Coast and staying in
Launceston overnight.
